THE RIGHT DIET
You must follow a diet that will nourish your body and your bones; one that gives your bones what they need but void of as many antinutrients as possible. It must be one that heals and sustains the gut microbiome (over 70% of your immune system) where all nutrition begins or ends!
SOUND NUTRITION
You must get nutrients from their most appropriate and natural sources to first avoid damage to the gut microbiome and lining to prevent Dysbiosis and/or Leaky Gut. The nutrients you take in should be only those from whole foods, preferably organic, while avoiding processed/packaged foods, chemicals, synthetics, and antinutrients. We are not only what we eat but what our food eats! Every cell (and bone cell) in the body reneews itself every 7 years. Eath the healthiest you can, it will pay off.
THE RIGHT SUPPLEMENTS
Just as with the foods you ingest, supplements need to come from the same or similar sources. They need to be chemical-free, void of antinutrients, using whole-food sources, and not synthetic which causes your liver (25% of the immune system) to be taxed even further.
THE RIGHT EXERCISE
Exercise is extremely important for bone health and strength. Your bones are made mostly of collagen (protein) as well as a few minerals. They need a load on them, especially in the weakest areas for them to grow stronger and maintain their proper structure. The muscles that support them also need to be kept strong. Further, exercise for maintaining balance is also key to preventing falls which is what studies show are the cause of most fractures.
THE AVOIDANCE OF AS MANY ANTINUTRIENTS AS POSSIBLE
Avoiding Antinutrients is key in any diet where one requires healing and proper maintenance for optimal health. Some can rob you of the nutrients you take in from food and supplements, while others can rob you of the nutrients you’ve already obtained. Avoiding as many as possible will better allow your gut, your liver, and your body, in general, to be in the best state to give your bones what they need.
These are what those who’ve healed and/or have improved their bone health have applied in their lives. If you wish to heal, prevent, or maintain what you have, if already in optimal health, I suggest keeping these primary in your life.
